Windows Fanatics have published a review of the Nuwai TM-301X-3 Luxeon 3W LED flashlight. ‘The X-3 arrived in a nice package, nothing to write home about but attractive enough to gift-wrap. It contained the flashlight, two CR123A 3v. lithium cells, and a lightweight nylon case with flap and belt loop. The case will do a good job of protecting the light’s finish, but I would be leery of using it for anything other than casual carry. The flashlight itself is a pleasing satin black, adequately non-reflective without looking drab. The anodized finish seems to be Type II, similar to a MiniMag but not as shiny. It will undoubtedly develop “character” over time if treated roughly. The torch has a comfortable heft. Heavy raised checkering and various cuts on the surface provide a grip that I can’t imagine would ever get very slippery.’

A review of the Nuwai Luxeon III TM-303X LED flashlight has been posted over at The Gadgeteer. 'The TM-303X is a nice compact sized rugged flashlight. Total length is less than 4 inches. It can easily fit in any gear bag, purse or cargo pant pocket. It is comfortable in hand given the nice weight and knurled grip on both the middle barrel and lens area. These ridges help keep the light securely in hand. A metal clip attached by 2 small screws provides a convenient method of clipping the light to a pocket or cap visor. There is also a small eyelet in the clip if you would like to attach a thin wrist strap.'

Here is one of the premium flashlights from Nuwai who supplies relatively low-cost items which can however hold their own in competition with the more popular brands. 'The Nuwai TM-301X-5 is a very small, two 123A powered, Luxeon-V LED flashlight made of anodized aluminum with a textured aluminum reflector and a polycarbonate lens. The case is available in black and titanium case color with a white LED. It has only one mode of operation: Screaming Bright. It will provide good output for almost 2 hours, with briefly diminishing light after that. A pocket clip is attached to the side of the light and a clickie switch is on the tailcap. The textured reflector produces a smooth spot with a wide spill beam.'
