Arc6.jpg

CPF Reviews have published a review of the Arc6 LED flashlight. 'Arc6 is a micro processor based, single CR123 battery, piston drive (PD), programmable LED flashlight. Arc6 uses Seoul SSC P4 LED as its illumination source. As the name suggests, Arc6 is 6th revision of legendry LS series. Like Arc AAA, Way back in 2001 Arc Flashlight was one of the first manufacturer ever to launch a CR123 battery based Power LED flashlight. Arc6 is designed as a bright illumination tool for EDC (Every Day Carry) keeping four key factors in to consideration namely flashlight size, runtime, brightness and durability. Firstly, the size to be small & pocketable so that you can carry it on a daily basis without any concerns i.e. easy for every day carry. Secondly the runtime should be enough to last long for emergencies at a low brightness level. At the same time the brightness should be enough to illuminate greater distances.'

Spotlight Rechargable Car Flashlight Review - I4U News

Weiguo-Spotlight-Rechargable-Car-Flashlight.jpg

I4U News have published a review of the Spotlight Rechargable Car Flashlight from Weiguo Solutions. 'The Spotlight uses a high output .5 watt LED bulb and has a 6061 anodized aluminum body. Power for the light comes from a rechargeable Ni-MH battery and charging is done in most 12 volt automotive power outlets. When charging the Spotlight has a red glow around the bezel to let you know it’s getting power from the power source; no red glow means no charging. The length of the device is under 2-inches and the weight is 1.6 ounces. The manufacturer claims 120 minutes of light per charge and a full charge takes 7 hours. The light is water resistant and can be submerged as well. Five different color choices are available and I was sent gold, purple and a pink Spotlights for testing.'

Weiguo Solutions Spotlight LED Flashlight Review - The Gadgeteer

Weiguo-Solutions-Spotlight-LED-Flashlight.jpg

The Gadgeteer have published a review of the rechargeable Spotlight LED flashlight from Weiguo Solutions. 'The barrel of this tiny flashlight has a gnarled grip that allows you to keep a firm grasp on it. The top twists clockwise to turn on the light, and counter clockwise to turn it off and put it in charging mode. The end opposite the bulb is the charging contact for a 12V power port in your car, boat, etc. Seven hours of charge will allow you to burn the light for about 120 minutes. The Spotlight isn't designed to enable you to replace the batteries, but it should last for a couple of years without that need.'

Weiguo Solutions Spotlight Review - Dan’s Data

Weiguo-Solutions-Spotlight.jpg

A review of the Weiguo Solutions LED Spotlight has been posted over at Dan’s Data. ‘The Spotlight is almost exactly two inches long (about 51mm), and it's 0.85 inches in diameter (21.5mm) at the head end, where there's a wider fluted section that you turn to switch the light on. It's just big enough for the twist-switch to still be reasonably easy for an adult to operate one-handed, but it's still tiny. You could fit two Spotlights quite comfortably in the "Zippo pocket" of a pair of jeans. The only problem with the Spotlight's size is that it's a bit too tiny; the flutes in the head make it possible to turn the light on and off one-handed, but if you do that there's just not much left of the light to hold onto. But this is nitpicking.’

Review: Underwater Kinetics’ 2AAA eLED® Mini Pocket Light - Toolmonger

UK-2AAA-eLED-Mini-Pocket-Light.jpg

Stuart Deutsch writing over at Toolmonger has posted a "hands on" review of the 2AAA eLED® Mini Pocket Light from Underwater Kinetics. 'After using this flashlight over the past two weeks, I’ve grown to like it a lot. The beam is soft and relatively uniform, making it ideal for reading or other close-quarter tasks. You turn the light on by twisting the lens assembly. A feature (read: flaw) that I don’t like, is the way the light turns on if you press the lens assembly towards the body. However, this isn’t too terrible since the minimum force required to ignite it is much higher than typically exerted accidentally in pockets and purses.'

HManPhotos Pits The Inova Microlight Against The Photon Freedom Micro

Inova-Microlight-Photon-Freedom-Micro.jpg

HManPhotos have published a post in which the Inova Microlight is compared with the Photon Freedom Micro flashlight. 'As for light output, the Photon is most definatly superior to the Inova. One thing the Photon has over the Inova OTHER than sheer brightness is that the Photon has a multi-variable dimming feature where as the Inova just has bright, dim, and strobe. The Photon can either be click on and off, or it can be clicked on (bright) and then the button held which will then start dimming the light in a smooth transition down to its dimmest setting where it will flash once to let you know that you hit this point. This is also where the strobe features come in but we'll come back to that. Another nice point about the Photon. If you are somewhere that you don't want the light to come on bright at all, just hit the button and hold it without releasing and when it comes on, it will be on its dimmest setting. You can then continue holding to bring it up in brightness to your desired level.'

Karen Deer writing over at the ST. Louis Post-Dispatch reflects on the important role her led clip light assumed during a recent emergency. 'Recently, when the ferocious storm hit St. Louis and the lights went out in my home, I couldn't find one working flashlight. So I grabbed a few candles and then remembered I had a new product called the L.E.D. Latch Light. The light is designed to latch onto a purse or computer bag in case you're walking in the dark. But I needed light during the power outage, so I decided to test it in my kitchen. I removed it from the packaging and hung it from my ceiling fan pull chain.'

HellzTeeth.com: ORB RAW Led Flashlight Review

The ORB RAW must be one of the smallest flashlights available nowadays. Don't be misled into thinking that size is an issue with this light since it is one of those gadgets which incorporates some pretty nifty technological features in its construction. The ORB RAW is made from aerospace grade aluminum and is not anodized or painted, hence the "Raw" moniker. 'Changing batteries is simple enough too, simply unscrew the body, replace the cell and tighten up again. During this process you will notice that the Raw doesn't feature any rubber o-rings. This is a shame as it makes the Raw susceptible to water damage, this is definitely not a diving light, this isn't really even a paddling light, Mr Water is not your friend.'
