A review of the Joby Gorillatorch Adjustable and Flexible Tripod Flashlight has been posted over at The Carpenters Workshop. 'The legs are made of a rubbery material so they are very easy to move and the feet are magnetic, so my next test... car repair. I popped open the hood of my car and stuck the Gorillatorch tripod flashlight right underneath the hood and angled the flashlight downward. It stuck to the hood with absolutely no problem, and since it was completely upside down the magnets obviously worked very well when it showed no signs of dropping off.'

Mobile Magazine have published their review of the Joby Gorillatorch Flexible LED Flashlight. 'Aside from the obvious flashlight mounted at the top, the other major difference with the Gorillatorch compared to other Joby Gorillapod products is that this one has magnetic feet. The magnets are actually reasonably strong, as I was able to hang the Gorillatorch using just two of the feet magnetized to a couple screws in the wall. For power, the Gorillatorch takes three AA batteries. The package comes with three alkalines, but you could just as easily swap these for your own rechargeable NiMH batteries instead. One side of the Gorillatorch screws off reasonably easily to give you access to the battery compartment.'

The Joby Gorillatorch Adjustable and Flexible Tripod Flashlight is on offer for $29.95 over at Amazon.com. 'The Gorillatorch secures to virtually any surface and allows you to cast a focused beam of intense light anywhere and everywhere. Use it in ways you could never use a traditional flashlight: pop it under the car hood when checking the engine, attach it to the bedpost for lights out reading, secure it to a tree branch to illuminate your campsite, or straighten the legs and use it as a handheld while walking the dog. Your imagination is the only limit.'

A review of the Joby Gorillatorch Adjustable and Flexible Tripod Flashlight has been posted over at I4U.com. 'If you are trying to use the Gorrillatorch near a metal surface, like the side of your car, the magnets in the feet will hold the Gorrillatorch securely to any metal surface. The magnets are very powerful and will hold the light in place on vertical surfaces and wet surfaces as well. The articulating legs are long enough to wrap around poles and other objects.'
