Laser-Folding-Work-Lamp.jpg

Auto Express have published their review of twelve "In-car" LED torches. 'For tackling a breakdown at night, the Laser Work Light has pretty much everything. As it's rechargeable, you will never be stuck with a flat battery, plus the clever design means you can get light just about anywhere and leave your hands free to work. If you are on a budget, look no further than Kamasa's Work Light, which mixes great under-bonnet light with a magnetic mount. For those who prefer a conventional torch, the True Utility - with its tripod mount - is the way to go.'

TerraLUX TLW-80UV Review - PoliceOne.com

TerraLUX-TLW-80UV.jpg

A review of the TerraLUX TLW-80UV work light has been posted over at PoliceOne.com. 'The TLW-80UV is lightweight and about the same size as an "old school" patrol light. Although the design is definitely durable, the clear tube that makes up the body, which also houses the 60 LED array, was surprisingly sturdy considering it barely weighed anything and was completely transparent. Its durability and weather resistance is appropriate for its intended purpose. It uses simple lightweight seals between parts. I would have preferred a more waterproof seal on the rocker switch, but would not have given up the rocker switch design for a better seal.'

Icon-Rogue-2.jpg

A review of the Icon Rogue 2 LED flashlight has been posted over at the Gear Diary. 'The Rouge 2 also comes with a nifty lanyard that is designed to hang the light from your neck. It is comfortable to wear and also has a carabiner like clip that allows you keep the lanyard itself around your neck while you have the light in your hand using it to light your way. The lanyard makes it nice to keep the light at the ready so you can have your hands free and only have the light in your hand when you need it. It is also better than trying to dig it out of your pocket or of a belt clip.'

Neofab-Legion-II-Flashlight.jpg

A review of the Neofab Legion II LED flashlight has been posted over at PaulStamatiou.com. 'The heart of the Legion II is the powerful CREE XLamp MC-E LED, which paired to the 18650 batteries gives the Legion II a rating of 742 torch lumens. While technically it is a single LED, it's like having four LEDs in one with a multi-chip design. Neofab claims the Legion II is the world's brightest single LED flashlight. Before continuing though, it's important to mention that the 742 lumens rating is torch lumens, compared to emitter lumens. Emitter lumens measures all of the light coming out of the LED in all directions. On the other hand, torch lumens is a more real-world measurement that excludes light that goes out of the back of the reflector, light that doesn't bounce off and is used to heat up the reflector, light that is used to heat up the front lens and doesn't pass through, light that bounces back to the emitter and heats it up more, among other things.'

Joby-Gorillatorch-Adjustable-and-Flexible-Tripod-Flashlight.jpg

A review of the Joby Gorillatorch Adjustable and Flexible Tripod Flashlight has been posted over at I4U.com. 'If you are trying to use the Gorrillatorch near a metal surface, like the side of your car, the magnets in the feet will hold the Gorrillatorch securely to any metal surface. The magnets are very powerful and will hold the light in place on vertical surfaces and wet surfaces as well. The articulating legs are long enough to wrap around poles and other objects.'

Tikka-2-XP.jpg

A review of the Tikka 2 XP has been posted over at the Candle Power Forums. 'The TIKKA XP ² headlamp integrates two light sources as well as a Wide Angle lens with a simple open-close feature, allowing the user to choose between a long distance focalized beam and flood beam proximity lighting. This headlamp is equipped with a white high-output LED and a red LED. The white LED delivers 60 lumens in maximum mode and lights up to 60 meters. In economic mode, it can reach a burn-time of 160 hours. The red LED provides lighting to preserve night vision or to become a blinking light for increased safety, for example in an urban environment, etc. TIKKA XP® ² can be used with lithium batteries to decrease weight or increase performance in cold weather.'

Energizer-Hardcase-Tactical-Flashlight.jpg

The Personal Money Store have published a review of the Energizer MIL2AA1L Hardcase Tactical Flashlight. 'the Energizer Hardcase Tactical Flashlight (aka the Energizer LED Infrared Night Vision Flashlight and the MIL2AA1L) boasts five different kinds of light. White, Blue, Red, Infrared and Infrared Strobe light your way through darkest night. Other things that come standard on the Energizer Hardcase Tactical Flashlight include rubber gaskets that resist water damage, a recessed switch that keeps you from lighting your torch before you're ready to give away your position and a red signal to let people know that you're the kind of person who will turn on the red light.'

Neofab-Legion-II-Standard-Edition.jpg

A review of the Neofab Legion II Standard Edition flashlight has been posted over at the Candle Power Forums. 'Ok, so I have been using the Legion II for about a week, mostly playing with it indoors but also took it out on a couple of occasions. The feel in the hand is excellent, well balanced, and this is actually one aspect of the light that was spot-on! As I have rather large hands, the grip over the 3x18650 body is ideal, and I find it more comfortable to hold than thinner 1x lights. Also, the short-and-stumpy body is great for tucking it in a bag without worrying if it is going to fit or not.'

It is made of the same high quality materials and precision machining that all the other Surefire products I have tested have (aka its well made and engineered to stand the test of time and rigors of hard use). The T1A has a 3-watt LED with a continuous variability switch that allows nearly infinite levels of brightness, ranging from less than 1 to 70 lumens.'
