Columbus, Ohio – June 9, 2008 - Dorcy International introduces the Terminator, a heavy duty 6 watt flashlight that delivers 160 lumens of light output. Powered by a Luxeon K2 LED producing up to five times the brightness of a standard light. The output of the K2 Luxeon® LED is amplified by an optimized reflector system, enabling the Terminator to produce a 300 ft. beam of light.
The LED never needs replacement, and consumes less energy than ordinary bulbs, allowing 30 hours of run time on six AA cell batteries. Features include anodized aluminum and rubber construction, patented heat transmission and circuit protection, side barrel push button switch, and rubber booted tail for stand-up use.
The Dorcy K2 flashlights are able to operate in extreme conditions. At temperatures from more than 30 degrees below zero to over +130 Fahrenheit. In high humidity extreme cold or blazing heat the Dorcy K2 will out perform the competition.
