Eneloop Batteries Reviewed
Javno.com have published a review of Sanyo's Eneloop precharged NiMH batteries. 'Unlike “standard” rechargeable NiMH (Nickel Metal Hydride) batteries which loose approximately 1 percent of their power daily when not used, Sanyo`s eneloop series uses new, one might say exotic, materials, enabling the battery to maintain the initial charge for an impressive period. According to information from the manufacturer, eneloops stored at a temperature of 20 degrees maintain 90 percent of their power after six months, 85 percent after a year and 70 percent of their initial capacity after two years of non-usage. In the end, this enables Sanyo to deliver them on the market already charged and ready for usage, which is something no other manufacturer can brag about.'
