The LED is 1.25-watts and Coast claims it outputs 60.2 lumens. When focused to a narrow beam you can brightly light distant objects. T he flashlight is powered by 3 AAA batteries and is operated by an easy on/off push button on the back that locks in an on or off position and also allows momentary bursts so you can signal Morse code.
