Gerber Recon AA Flashlight, Red, Blue, Green, White LED

Gerber Recon.jpg

I am not aware of the desire on the part of consumers [especially flashlight connoisseurs] for the multi-color, multi-led flashlight. There is however a certain sense of joy whenever you are the first to spring a new gadget on your friends. [Of course I stand to be corrected and would readily concede there are very credible uses for colors other than the more common yellow incandescents and white leds.] 'The body of the Gerber Recon is anodized aluminum in a flat black finish. It is designed to be purposely non-reflective. The head is larger than the body tube and attached to the face of the light is a polymer dial with the colored lenses. The tailcap is drilled for attachment of a lanyard and has ridges to assist grip when turning the light on and off.'

You question the need for a Gerber Recon....... An ideal torch for use on a boat at night. Red for moving about, green for map reading, white for general illumination when not under way. I don't need the blue but an angler might.
