Flashlight Reviews: Gerber LX 1.0 Led Flashlight

Gerber LX 1.0.jpg

While a flashlight with two AA batteries may provide adequate lighting, there can be no substitute for the output generated from three similar batteries. Thus, while the Gerber LX may stretch the length of six full inches, the light output combined with its 'tough' design are well worth the $40 you pay for this flashlight. 'The Gerber LX 1.0 is a very tough general purpose light. It is made from Type II anodized aluminum with either a black or gray matte finish. 3 AA alkaline batteries power the light for many hours. Inside the bezel is a direct driven Luxeon I LED which is shockproof and provides a bright spot of light. The tailcap is the switch; twist for on and off. 3 AA batteries are included and are replaced by removing the tailcap.'
